Founded in 2010, it supports people living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, along with their families and carers. Its services include information, guidance and social assistance, individual and group psychological care, training, and mutual support groups. Its areas of work include social, psychological, physiotherapy and care support. The association also runs awareness and education campaigns and supports research in both social and biomedical fields. It is a member of the Confederación Española de Alzheimer y Otras Demencias.
