Agent Green is a Romanian non-governmental, non-profit environmental protection organisation founded in February 2009 by Raluca Nicolae, Anca Șerban and Gabriel Păun. It investigates environmental crimes, exposes abuses and runs campaigns to conserve biodiversity, forests, waters and climate in Romania. Its work includes legal action against illegal forestry and land-use decisions, support for local communities in Domogled, Făgăraș and Făget, investigations into the timber and furniture industries, and advocacy on bioenergy, protected areas and genetically modified organisms. The organisation publishes reports, documentaries and campaigns and supports civic courage through an annual award.
