AICS Padova is the provincial committee in Padova of AICS (Associazione Italiana Cultura Sport), a non-profit sports promotion body. It is the leading sports promotion organisation in Padova by number of members and affiliated clubs. It supports affiliated sports and recreational clubs with legal, tax, insurance and event-organisation advice, and runs training courses, including first aid and BLSD, fire safety and safeguarding. Beyond sport, its affiliated clubs cover cultural, artistic, environmental, civil protection and social activities. The committee also runs social projects for at-risk minors, drug-prevention and multi-ethnic integration, and maintains international exchanges. It serves the province of Padova in the Veneto region, Italy. Founded officially with the congress of 10 November 1987, it is an association without profit purposes. Its membership figure of 40,200 is stated for August 2013.
