Aktivna zona is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan youth organisation based in Montenegro. It brings together active people of different generations and interests to develop projects, initiatives and training in areas such as local democracy, transparency, environmental protection, human rights, volunteering and non-formal education. It runs the regional resource centre for civil society in the central region of Montenegro, within the national resource centre network, and works mainly in Cetinje, Podgorica and other towns across the country. Its activities include workshops, consultations, seminars, clean-up and recycling campaigns, and advocacy on public policy. Donations fund its seminars, lectures and educational courses.
