Al-Bio is a non-profit association based in Tavira, Portugal working on environment & climate, nature & wildlife conservation.

Al-Bio is a non-profit association based in Tavira, Algarve, Portugal. It brings together young farmers, producers and processors working in organic production, many of them rural women. It promotes organic and agroecological farming, supports producers with technical advice and shared experience, and represents members in agricultural policy and value-chain decisions. It also runs a free online directory of organic producers in the Algarve, organises technical days and field visits, and promotes sustainable and healthy eating based on conscious consumption.
