Alliance Urgences

Alliance Urgences is a non-profit network based in Lyon, France working on humanitarian aid & disaster relief, water & sanitation.

Alliance Urgences is a French association under the 1901 law, made up of six French humanitarian NGOs: Action contre la Faim, CARE France, Handicap International, Médecins du Monde, Plan International France and Solidarités International. It runs joint public fundraising appeals when humanitarian emergencies occur, including natural disasters, conflicts, epidemics and mass displacement. Funds raised are allocated to member NGOs working in the field under an annual allocation key, and the alliance reports publicly on how donations are used. Its work covers first aid, emergency kits and restoring basic services such as water and sanitation, with activities in several crisis-affected countries.
