ANEP, the Asociación Nacional de Educación Prenatal, is a non-profit association founded in 1988 and registered in Spain. It promotes prenatal education and care for the start of life, aiming to spread information on prenatal education across society and to improve the physical and psychological development of children by preparing future parents, particularly mothers during pregnancy. It addresses women, men, adolescents, young people, couples, educators and health professionals. ANEP is a partner of Prenatal Alliance and belongs to the Organización Mundial de Asociaciones de Educación Prenatal (OMAEP) and the Conecta Perinatal alliance, which seeks to strengthen public policy on the perinatal period and its psychological dimension. The organisation publishes articles, videos and resources on prenatal education and takes part in conferences and events.
