Founded in 2004, Animal Protection Network is a non-profit association based in Stockholm, Sweden working on animal welfare, nature & wildlife conservation.

Animal Protection Network (APN) is a Swedish non-profit association founded in Stockholm in 2004. It works to end the slaughter and abuse of cats and dogs in Asia, including their torture before slaughter and their use in the fur trade, and to rescue bears exploited for bile at Chinese bile farms. APN channels donations to local animal welfare partner organisations in Asia, including shelters, sterilisation programmes and rescue work, and says that nearly all income goes directly to these projects. It also seeks to strengthen animal protection laws in several Asian countries, and runs volunteer placements for veterinarians and veterinary students at partner centres. APN is run entirely by volunteers, with no salaries or office costs. Its work is financed mainly by member fees and donations from Sweden.
