APSHSTDC is a non-governmental organisation for development and international cooperation based in Lisbon, Portugal. It is recognised as a public utility legal entity by the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The organisation designs and supports social, cultural, environmental, civic and economic programmes, including projects in developing countries, and promotes human rights, gender equality, and occupational health and safety. It is active in international projects funded by the European Commission, including Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020, covering public and occupational health, workplace safety, social responsibility, education, employment and skills, social entrepreneurship, migration and sustainability. Its partners span Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Balkans, and it offers training, consultancy and auditing services. The organisation coordinates a working group on circular economy and environment within the RSO.PT national social responsibility network.
