ASIMAS - Associazione Italiana Mastocitosi

Founded in 2008, ASIMAS - Associazione Italiana Mastocitosi is a non-profit association based in Nichelino, Italy working on health, medical research.

ASIMAS is an Italian volunteer association (ODV), founded in February 2008 within the Rete Italiana Mastocitosi (RIMA). It supports people living with mastocytosis, a rare disease, and their families, and works to raise awareness among the public, the scientific community and pharmaceutical companies. Its activities include information resources on diagnosis, treatment and paediatric mastocytosis, peer support for patients and families, a directory of clinics following the RIMA protocol, and advocacy for patient rights. The association is based in Nichelino, near Turin, and operates across Italy.
