Asociatia Heal (HEAL Association) is a Romanian non-profit association founded by doctors and digital health enthusiasts to improve care and quality of life for cancer patients in Romania. It offers free second-opinion evaluations, a navigation service that helps patients understand and move through the healthcare system, and a virtual tumour board that brings together multidisciplinary specialists, including Romanian-origin experts working in leading international centres. The association also runs the Heal21 platform for oncology tele-expertise, supports doctors in regional clinics with limited oncology specialists, and funds its services through donations, sponsorships and the 3.5% income tax redirection mechanism in Romania. Its services are provided free of charge to patients.
