Asociația Poli is a Romanian animal welfare association based in Giarmata Vii, Timiș county. It rescues, treats, rehabilitates and seeks loving adoptive homes for abandoned and vulnerable dogs and cats. The association also runs a free, year-round sterilisation campaign, promotes vaccination, deworming and adoption, and invites people to donate, volunteer and sponsor its work. It was founded after a dog named Poli, brought in by the local police after being hit by a car, became the association's mascot and inspiration.
