Associazione Ligure Thalassemici OdV is a volunteer organisation based at the Galliera Hospital in Genoa, Italy. It supports thalassemia patients and their families in Liguria, promotes blood donation across the region, raises awareness of the condition, organises conferences and awareness days, and backs scientific research. The organisation also runs a long-standing assistance project for Moroccan children with thalassemia, bringing patients to Genoa for treatment and supporting families in Rabat. Its origins lie in a committee founded in 1983 that was later transformed into the current association.
