Associazione Luciano Lama O.D.V. is a non-profit volunteer organisation based in Enna, Sicily, founded in 1998 from a grassroots mobilisation that began in 1992 in response to the conflict in the Balkans. It has been recognised as an NGO by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2005 and has been registered in the Registro Unico del Terzo Settore as a volunteer organisation since 2022. The organisation works in international development, humanitarian aid and social solidarity in Italy and abroad, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the Saharawi refugee camps in Algeria. Its activities include emergency aid convoys, temporary hosting of Bosnian children, development projects such as community centres and food production facilities, food aid distribution in Enna under the EU-funded FEAD programme, migrant inclusion projects, and child sponsorship in Madagascar with a partner organisation. It also runs awareness and education activities on peace, solidarity and global education.
