Assosalud

Founded in 2002, Assosalud is a non-profit network based in Bogotá D.C., Colombia working on health, employment & skills, democracy & civil society.

ASSOSALUD is a private, non-profit, democratic second-level association of health professional organisations in Colombia, described as akin to a non-governmental organisation. It represents health professionals before the State and society, proposes and monitors public health policies, and aims to defend the fundamental right to health of Colombians and the integral development of health professions. It also runs an ethics and transparency programme and an anonymous ethics reporting channel for members, directors, employees, suppliers and the public. Based in Bogotá.
