Founded in 2016, AUVEA is a non-profit association based in Barcelona, Spain working on health, mental health.

AUVEA is a national non-profit patient association in Spain, founded in 2016 with the support of the ophthalmology team at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. It is made up of patients, relatives and healthcare professionals linked to uveitis, an inflammatory eye disease. The association provides information, peer support and psychological support services for members, runs an annual patient conference, campaigns for greater visibility and research into uveitis, and maintains a directory of Spanish centres that treat the condition. It is volunteer-run, declared a public-benefit entity, and funded mainly through membership fees, donations and lotteries.
