Borgorete is an Italian social cooperative (cooperativa sociale) founded in 2007 through the merger of the cooperatives La Rete and Il Borgo, whose roots date to 1979. It designs and manages social, socio-health and educational services in Perugia and its province. Its work covers children's nurseries and family centres, residential and day educational communities for minors, support for children and young people with disabilities, mental health and addiction services, emergency social services for people experiencing severe marginalisation and victims of trafficking, housing and employment inclusion, and youth services. The cooperative is governed by a mutualistic, social-justice mission and works in partnership with the Comune di Perugia, Regione Umbria and local health authorities. It also manages the national civil service placements through Legacoop Umbria.
