Cancer- och allergifonden is a Swedish non-profit fundraising foundation, founded in 1994. It funds scientific research on cancer and allergies, with a focus on patient-oriented and translational research, and provides personal financial support to seriously ill and economically vulnerable people in Sweden. The foundation is independent of other cancer and allergy organisations and receives no government grants, relying on donations from private individuals and companies. Donors can give directly, through monthly giving, gift cards, memorial gifts and by starting their own fundraising campaigns. Companies can become corporate friends (företagsvän) from a donation of SEK 3,000. Research grants are announced once a year, and applicants must be affiliated with a Swedish university or college. The foundation is based in Stockholm and publishes an information bulletin twice a year.
