Clowner utan Gränser is a Swedish non-profit association founded in 1996 that works to give children in crisis, war and disaster areas hope, laughter and play. Its activities include performances, workshops, emergency response teams and educational materials. Its work covers areas affected by armed conflict and displacement, including refugee camps in Greece, Turkey after the 2023 earthquake, Ukraine, and Nigeria, as well as children in vulnerable situations in Sweden, such as asylum seekers and families living in hardship. The organisation is run by a volunteer board elected at the annual meeting and a secretary general leading a small office in Stockholm. It is a member of Giva Sverige, follows its quality code, and holds the 90-konto fundraising control certification from Svensk Insamlingskontroll. Donations can be made as one-off gifts, monthly giving, legacies, corporate gifts and shares. Since its founding, its artists have reached more than two million children.
