The Comisión Colombiana de Juristas (CCJ) is a Colombian non-governmental human rights organisation founded in 1988, based in Bogotá. It works to improve the human rights situation in Colombia and to develop international human rights and humanitarian law. Its work includes strategic litigation and representation of victims of the armed conflict before national, inter-American and UN bodies, psychosocial accompaniment, land and territorial rights litigation, legislative and judicial advocacy, research and documentation, and public education such as courses and publications. It also supports social organisations, including territorial and environmental groups, and provides international advocacy on the situation in Colombia.
