About

Conserve Natural Forests is a non-governmental organisation based in Pai, Thailand working on environment & climate, nature & wildlife conservation, community development +1 more.

Conserve Natural Forests is a non-profit organisation based in Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province, northern Thailand, with a presence in Krabi in the south and planting sites across more than nine provinces. It works to restore natural forest landscapes, protect biodiversity and support sustainable livelihoods for local communities. Its activities include reforestation and tree planting events, donating seedlings for land retention, watershed improvement and urban greenery, agroforestry and sustainable agriculture training for nearby villages, and environmental education for local students. The organisation also works with the Thai government and partner bodies to return keystone species such as elephants to protected areas. It runs an international internship programme and offers day visits to its project site that combine tropical ecosystem education with tree planting and low-impact travel guidance. Work is carried out year-round across Mae Hong Son and Chiang Mai Provinces, and at Tarutao National Park in Satun Province.
