It oversees its philanthropic strategy, manages an investment portfolio whose returns fund its activities, and provides professional services to partner philanthropies such as Porticus and Laudes Foundation. Its philanthropy works across education, society, faith and climate, with a set share of multi-year grant-making directed to experimental, pioneering approaches to systemic challenges. It does not raise funds or accept unsolicited grant applications from the public.
