The Contrat de Rivière Senne is a non-profit association (ASBL) founded in 2005 that coordinates the management of the Walloon part of the Senne river basin in Belgium. It brings together 20 partner municipalities, the provinces of Brabant wallon and Hainaut, the Service public de Wallonie and local stakeholders. Its work covers river inventories, invasive species control, river clean-ups, flood risk awareness and biodiversity projects, with support from two eco-cantonniers (river field workers). It runs free educational modules for schools, public guided walks and the annual Journées wallonnes de l'Eau, and it leads or takes part in European LIFE projects such as LIFE Belini and LIFE Riparias. Its coordination team of about 12 staff is based in Clabecq (Tubize), and it welcomes volunteer animators.
