EuroFIR AISBL is an international, member-based non-profit association under Belgian law, founded in 2009 and based in Brussels. It develops, publishes and promotes European food composition information, working with compiler organisations in Europe, the USA and Canada and with validated data on bioactive compounds. Its aims include improving data quality, storage and access, harmonising standards and advancing the FAIRification of food-related data to support nutrition and health research and policy.
