DOCE is a non-profit association based in Coimbra, Portugal working on health, medical research.

DOCE is a non-profit association based in Coimbra, Portugal, formed by parents and relatives of people with Tay-Sachs, Sandhoff and GM1 gangliosidosis. It supports affected families with information on scientific developments and financial help to buy equipment needed by patients, and raises funds to support research into these rare neurodegenerative diseases. It also works to find and connect families across Portugal and to raise public awareness of the diseases.
