About
Eesti Toidupank is a non-profit network based in Tallinn, Estonia working on poverty & hunger.
Eesti Toidupank is a network of regional food banks across Estonia that collects, stores and distributes food aid to people in need. Most of the food is rescued from retail chains, supplemented by donated food and European Union food aid. Food is distributed through county food banks, including the Tallinn food bank, which serves around 3,000 people a week in Tallinn. The network relies on volunteers for food collection days and works with local governments and social workers to identify people eligible for aid.
