The Ecumenical Council of Churches in the Slovak Republic (ERCSR) is an association of Christian churches registered in Slovakia. It works to build unity among churches, represent churches in relations with the state, and support cooperation in social, humanitarian and diaconal work. Its activities include a volunteer exchange programme, the Study Centre for New Religiosity and Sects, humanitarian aid and support for asylum seekers and refugees, ecumenical worship services, and a grant fund for ecumenical cooperation. The council coordinates the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in Slovakia and runs a radio programme on ecumenical news with Slovenský rozhlas. Its members include historic and free churches, with observer and associate members. The council is based in Bratislava and operates across Slovakia, with some projects abroad.
