Ellengårdens Familiehjem is a self-owning non-profit organisation in Aarhus, Denmark, part of the association Jysk Børneforsorg/Fredehjem. It offers temporary residential stays for families in vulnerable situations, providing intensive, hands-on support to strengthen parenting skills and family wellbeing, with the aim of helping families move to their own homes. It also offers housing and support for single women experiencing homelessness, with or without children, and runs a volunteer friendship scheme, courses and a cultural community for residents and former residents. The organisation works in partnership with municipal services, housing and social agencies and with the HUSRUM network.
