Federación UNAE is a non-profit federation of consumer and household associations based in Madrid, Spain. It works to defend and represent the rights of consumers and users, promote responsible, sustainable and informed consumption, and inform and train citizens. Its activities include advising on and handling consumer complaints, representing consumers before public administrations and institutions, participating in the Sistema Arbitral de Consumo, and taking part in national and European consumer forums. It is registered in the State Register of Consumer and User Associations and is a member of the Consumer and User Council and COFACE Families Europe. Its member organisations are consumer associations across Spain, with territorial delegations in several autonomous communities.
