Fefeo

Founded in 2023, Fefeo is a non-profit association based in Vejle, Denmark working on mental health, children & youth.

Fefeo is a Danish voluntary association and non-profit organisation based in Vejle. It works to ensure that children, young people and adults affected by sexual abuse receive support, treatment and protection, and that professionals in social, health, educational and residential services are equipped to recognise signs of abuse and respond to aftereffects. Its work includes lectures, courses, supervision and teaching for students at professional colleges and for staff in municipalities, residential facilities and social services across Denmark. It also combines knowledge, practice experience and political advocacy, including calls for a national strategy and clearer guidelines for abuse-related support. The association is funded through membership fees, public and foundation grants, and donations, and is governed by a board elected at an annual general meeting.
