FILSCAP

Founded in 1965, FILSCAP is a non-profit association based in Quezon City, Philippines working on arts & culture.

FILSCAP is a non-stock, non-profit association of composers, lyricists and music publishers established in 1965 in the Philippines. It is accredited by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines as a Collective Management Organization. It licenses public playing, broadcast and streaming of copyrighted music on behalf of its members and affiliate foreign societies, and collects royalties for music creators. Beyond licensing, it runs public and member programmes that raise awareness of music copyright and support songwriting, including Campus Caravans, Songwriters Nights, a Master Lecture Series and Songwriting Camps. Its repertoire is stated to cover over 20 million local and foreign songs.
