Fjord&Bælt is an aquarium, research and education centre in Kerteminde, Denmark, focused on the marine life of Danish waters. It keeps and trains harbour porpoises and seals, which take part voluntarily in research on how marine mammals can best be kept and how they respond to human activity such as shipping and offshore wind farms. The centre collects long-term data, publishes peer-reviewed research and provides recommendations to the Danish Ministry of Environment. It offers exhibitions, an underwater tunnel, an otter, fish and crab displays, guided activities and school programmes for pupils and students, and works on nature conservation, including turbot stock enhancement with local partners. It is financed partly through ticket sales, season passes and grants, and accepts tax-deductible donations as a collecting institution. The centre also hosts public meetings on local environmental issues and works with the DAZA association of Danish zoos and aquariums.
