About
Founded in 1990, Fondazione ADAS ETS is a foundation based in Cuneo, Italy working on health.
Fondazione ADAS ETS is a non-profit foundation based in Cuneo, Italy, that has provided free specialist palliative care at patients' homes since 1990. Its multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, a psychologist, physiotherapists, social health workers and volunteers supports patients with advanced or incurable illness, mainly cancer and chronic debilitating conditions, along with their families, including bereavement support. It also promotes palliative care culture through training and public awareness initiatives and carries out research and quality development. It was originally founded as an association (ADAS), became a foundation in 2010 following a legacy, and became an ETS (Ente del Terzo Settore) under the 2024 reform of the Third Sector.
