Fondazione Cariparo is a non-profit foundation based in Padova, Italy, that promotes the quality of life and sustainable development of the provinces of Padova and Rovigo. It was established under the 1991 Amato Law as the successor of the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, whose roots go back to the Monte di Pietà di Padova (1491). The foundation supports non-profit public and private organisations and carries out its own projects through public calls (bandi) and free requests, working across seven strategic lines: healthy lifestyles, education, social inclusion, research and development, participation in culture, historic and artistic heritage, and environment and landscape. It also manages its endowment through a financial portfolio, with the aim of preserving its assets and generating resources for projects of collective benefit. Its governing bodies include a General Council, a Board of Administration and an Audit Committee. The foundation operates through its offices in Padova and Rovigo and through its instrumental company Auxilia S.p.A.
