The Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane manages and restores a group of 18th-century villas along the Miglio d'Oro (Golden Mile) in the Vesuvian area near Naples, Italy. The foundation was formerly the Ente per le Ville Vesuviane and took over responsibility for the villas after restoration work. It runs the Villa Campolieto, the seaside park of Villa Favorita, Villa Ruggiero in Ercolano and Villa delle Ginestre in Torre del Greco. These sites host the foundation's institutional activities, guided tours, exhibitions and cultural events, including the Festival delle Ville Vesuviane, the Natale in Villa programme and educational visits for schools. The foundation's work focuses on preserving and opening the villas to the public and promoting the cultural heritage of the area.
