Founded in 2004, Fondazione Housing Sociale is a foundation based in Milano, Italy working on housing & homelessness, community development, employment & skills.

Fondazione Housing Sociale (FHS) is a non-profit foundation founded in 2004 by Fondazione Cariplo, with the participation of Regione Lombardia and ANCI Lombardia. It promotes social housing in Italy, offering affordable rental homes and building collaborative communities with shared spaces and services for residents and the surrounding neighbourhood. FHS acts as a promoter and technical-social advisor to investment funds in the sector, including the Sistema Integrato dei Fondi, providing support on urban planning, architecture, service design and community management. It runs research and monitoring of social impact, develops tools and manuals for social housing managers, co-runs a Master in Social and Collaborative Housing with the Politecnico di Milano, and organises conferences and exhibitions. FHS became a participatory foundation in 2013 and is based in Milan.
