Founded in 2003, Fórum života is a non-profit association based in Bratislava, Slovakia working on human rights, health, children & youth +2 more.
Fórum života is a Slovak pro-life, non-partisan, non-profit civic association active since 2003. It acts as a platform for more than 50 member organisations and individuals, advocating for the protection of human life from conception to natural death and for the family as the basic unit of society. Its activities include practical help for pregnant women and families in crisis through counselling centres and social services in several regions of Slovakia, a nationwide telephone crisis line, awareness campaigns such as the Day of the Conceived Child and the Candle for Unborn Children, public opinion surveys, bioethics publications and podcasts, conferences, and lobbying on legislation and advisory bodies. It also runs the Labore social enterprise and several spin-off projects. Its work is aimed at women in difficult life situations, families, children, people with disabilities, the elderly and other vulnerable groups, primarily in Slovakia.
