Framtidsfrön is a Swedish non-profit association that equips children and young people with courage, drive and motivation for a meaningful life in a changing world. It runs workshops, pupil assignments, competitions and creative projects in schools and preschools, often in collaboration with municipalities, local businesses and other societal actors. It also provides professional development and free learning materials, courses and methods for school staff to work with future competences such as creativity, problem solving, collaboration and entrepreneurship. Its work is based on the EU Key Competences for Lifelong Learning and the EntreComp framework, and it states that its educational materials are linked to the Global Goals. The organisation works nationally across Sweden, with local projects in municipalities including Värmland, Åre, Eda, Valdemarsvik and Linköping.
