Fundación Gabeiras is a non-profit foundation based in Madrid, Spain. It works to promote social justice and development through the promotion and defence of culture, law and sustainability. Its main activities include the Aula Gabeiras, a space for study and reflection on legal, economic, social, environmental and cultural issues, and research and reports on the cultural sector, such as the study on support for cultural entrepreneurship produced with InPulse and the Fundación Daniel y Nina Carasso. The foundation also supports cultural projects with legal and economic services, promotes access to specialised legal advice for vulnerable people and groups who face economic or social barriers, and runs training and knowledge-dissemination activities, including the Congreso Iberoamericano de Derecho de la Cultura and the Jornadas de Derecho de la Cultura. Its work covers areas such as cultural law, sustainable finance, fundamental rights in the digital society, gender equality and sustainability. It publishes free-access academic texts linked to its research through its editorial imprint.
