The Fundación Sergio Urrego is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation based in Bogotá, Colombia, founded on 23 August 2015 following the case of Sergio Urrego, a student who died by suicide after discrimination at his school. It works to promote inclusive social and educational environments, prevent discrimination in schools and suicide motivated by discrimination, and defend the rights of children, adolescents, young people and their families. Its work includes the Línea Salvavidas crisis line, the Sello Sergio Urrego school certification, training workshops, an online education school, and legal and psychosocial support. It also runs advocacy on laws and policies, including initiatives on school coexistence and discrimination.
