Fundacja Active Recovery

Fundacja Active Recovery is a non-governmental organisation based in Wrocław, Poland working on health, medical research.

Polish foundation based in Wrocław that supports cancer patients, particularly people with haematological and haematology-oncology conditions, through oncological rehabilitation, physical activity programmes and art therapy. It develops exercise programmes and guidelines for patients, conducts research with universities on rehabilitation during transplant therapy, and provides patient education for patients and doctors. It was founded by a rehabilitation specialist and a national athletics coach, and its work focus shifted toward oncology after one founder's illness.
