Fundacja Coxis

Founded in 2020, Fundacja Coxis is a non-governmental organisation based in Warszawa, Poland working on health, medical research.

Fundacja Coxis na rzecz zapobiegania i leczenia dysplazji bioder is a Polish foundation established by notarial deed on 11 December 2020. It was created following private experiences with hip dysplasia and works to spread knowledge about the medical and practical aspects of developmental hip dysplasia among patients, parents, carers and medical staff. The foundation promotes early diagnosis, supports research and development initiatives, and provides a platform for exchanging experiences. It also aims to educate general practitioners, paediatricians, midwives and physiotherapists who work with children affected by hip dysplasia, and offers support to adults who live with the consequences of untreated hip dysplasia in childhood. Future plans include organising a conference for knowledge exchange among specialists. The foundation also invites people to share patient stories and to offer practical help to families travelling for treatment.
