Fundacja Wrocławskie Hospicjum dla Dzieci is a Polish foundation, established in 2007 after its hospice began in 2002 as part of a Wrocław medical university clinic. It provides free palliative and respite care to children with incurable, terminal or chronic illnesses and to their families in Wrocław and across Lower Silesia. Services include home hospice care, perinatal hospice, respite care in the Kokoszka and Piórko homes in Wrocław and the Żmigród respite rooms, equipment loans, rehabilitation, psychological and therapeutic support, and a free youth psychotherapy workshop. The foundation also runs the annual Spiritum Duce scientific conference on respite care and a volunteer programme. Funding comes from individual donations, the 1.5% personal income tax designation as a public benefit organisation, and public and EU grants.
