It was established on the initiative of the Sandu family, drawing on the values of the Proinvest Group, a steel industry company. The foundation supports education, both formal and informal, through educational workshops and by encouraging young people to reach their potential in studies and extracurricular activities. It also runs and funds cultural initiatives that promote art, literature, gastronomy and local traditions, and supports social causes such as reducing poverty, discrimination and unemployment, including access to the labour market. Its work centres on children and young people in the local Pașcani community.
