Founded in 2011, Future Library is a non-governmental organisation based in Veria, Greece working on education, community development, arts & culture.

Future Library is a non-profit organisation based in Veria, Greece, established in 2011. It works to strengthen public libraries as centres of knowledge, creativity and social interaction, and to build a sustainable network of public and municipal libraries in Greece. Its activities include co-developing new library spaces and services, children's libraries, youth media labs, and reading and creativity campaigns. Working with 167 libraries and their communities, it has expanded from Greece into the Balkan region, including through the INELI programme for emerging library leaders. The organisation is hosted in the Veria Central Public Library, which it helped design and develop.
