Gatans Lag is a Swedish non-profit association that uses football to support people who are or have been affected by homelessness, substance abuse, criminality or mental ill-health. It runs football and fitness training, weekly open meetings, cups, camps, events and education. The association works from locations in Stockholm, Solna, Göteborg, Västerås and Halmstad and operates nationally. Participants do not need football experience, and the men's and women's teams require sobriety and drug-free attendance. The association was founded in Göteborg in 2008 and is run by volunteers, with its board elected at annual meetings. It is funded by donations, membership fees and sponsorships, and it represents Sweden at the Homeless World Cup.
