Good Start Charity

Good Start Charity is a charity based in Hua Hin, Thailand working on education.

Good Start Charity Foundation is a registered Thai charity that helps young Thai children learn to read and write Thai. It places Thai language teachers in kindergarten classes at rural schools outside Hua Hin, preparing children for primary school, where all textbooks are in Thai. The foundation also runs a numeracy programme, renovates classrooms, and provides school clothing and learning materials for kindergarten children. Its directors and advisers serve on a voluntary basis, and donations are stated to fund teacher salaries, learning materials and scholarships for underprivileged children in rural Thailand. Donations are eligible for tax deductions under Thai law.
