It works to relieve suffering among oppressed and needy people worldwide, regardless of religion, language or race. Its activities include humanitarian aid, health support, education, Islamic learning and memorisation of the Quran, water well construction, food distribution, sponsorship of orphans and students, and medical treatment funding. It operates domestically in Turkey and internationally, including in Africa, Asia and Gaza, and is funded mainly by individual donations, including zakat, sacrificial donations and other charitable gifts.
