Handicapcats is a Swiss non-profit association that rescues, fosters and rehomes cats that are disabled or infected with FIV or FeLV, and that have poor chances of adoption. The organisation places cats with private volunteer foster carers across Switzerland, rehomes them with adoption contracts and fee requirements, and provides information on living with such cats. It also sells handmade products through an online shop, with proceeds going to the cats in its care. Its work is carried out by volunteers and funded by donations, sponsorships and shop sales.
