The Happiness Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2023 by Tatjana, registered as an NGO in Germany and Indonesia and based in Uluwatu, Bali. Its work is legally embedded in the local foundation Yayasan Mulia Peduli Sesama, led by Atha, and works with local partners in the Bukit area. The foundation provides essential aid to families in need, including food packages, home renovations, medical assistance, financial relief from high-interest bank loans, and school fee sponsorship. It also runs education and creative programmes for children, including English classes, arts, sports and a community hub called The Happy Place. Volunteers take part in a weekly Community Kitchen, English classes and sports activities, and the foundation accepts pre-loved item donations. The founder covers all administrative and operational costs, and the organisation states that 100% of donations go to beneficiaries.
